So, the exciting news is... I'm in a tripan with sister DeCoursey and
Sister Gover in a very small town called, "Wainwright"
Sister Waite is training in Rainbow.
So this week has been super good. I love Wainwright so much already.
We have a branch of about forty people and one family has 12 people in
it, so basically if they are gone the whole branch is gone.
Wainwright is the buffalo capital of Canada. Super cool eh? I think it
is really just The Capital of Buffalo Statues, because I don't think
there actually really buffalo here.
Also, if you happen to be posting a picture of me in Wainwright (which
I doubt any of you are but this is a "just in case"), I would ask that
you do NOT say where I am. π just some sketchy stuff has been
happening with me and someone from my previous ward, so please just be
careful. :):):):) also, don't worry, I'm super safe too.
Hah, anyway. Back to all the happy things. Wainwright is AWESOME. I
actually think I perfect outlying than the city. (I STILL LOVE ALL MY
FRIENDS FROM RAINBOW, AND THE ENTIRE WARD, but outlying is awesome)
We taught an investigator named, Donna, the word of Wisdom this week
and she is now trying to quit alcohol and her smoking! Oh, I am so
proud. I met her, and I just felt an instant love for her. She is so
legit.
Our branch mission leader is also legit, his name is Brother Ferbey
and he just makes my life everytime we see him. He is just super
excited about sharing the gospel. We went and ate at this super fancy
place called "The Honey Pot" and it was DELICIOUS. He paid for our
meal, but literally I was so happy and so was my stomach.
Okay, fun story. Thursday was the "WORLD DAY OF PRAYER" where churches
all around the world come together and pray for one country. This year
it was the Phillipines (SHOUT TO MY BEST FRIEND IN THE WORLD, SISTER
ASHLEY MARGARET HAYES, who is heading there in a short time), it was
the most fun thing I've been to. They had karaoke and they were all
just singing their hearts out. It was pretty cool. Anyway, they said
the prayer, but they prayed for 27 minutes straight. It was so cool! I
love how small Wainwright is, but how wonderful the members are here.
I love it here. Wainwright is legit.
We also had stake conference this weekend, and it was fun getting a
ride with some of the members in Wainwright to head up to Edmonton.
before with the concerts, but she is one of my favourite people ever,
and seeing her again was just awesome. I loved it. She is so cool.
Ugh, I just love so many people.
I love you! I'm so excited to have more adventures in Wainwright. ❤️❤️
