April 4, 2017 We Thank Thee O God For a Prophet

What a week!

This week has been amazing!
I just have to say that General Conference as a missionary is amazing.
I loved conference! I will talk more about that later though!

After p-day last week, we got a phone call from Brother Stonehocker
saying "Sisters, where shouts are you? I have some groceries for you."
Well, the Stonehockers had bought 4 huge bags of gluten free
groceries! (You don't know how significant that was for me, they gave
me muffin mixes & GLUTEN FREE KRAFT DINNER! :) It was such a tender
mercy because I have been getting low on gluten free food and out here
in the boonies, there isn't much of a selection when it come to GF
foods. Seriously, THEY ARE THE BEST. We are headed out to their home
tonight for supper!
We also drove out to a town called "Bruce" that has 3 churches on the
same street with about 12 houses around them... It was weird because
we felt very strongly that we should go there, and then when we got
there not one of us felt good about any of the 12 houses that were
there.  However, after that we drove to the metropolis of "Viking" and
stopped by a less active named, Barry. Barry joined the church in
Calgary a long time ago, and the on.y reason he joined was because at
that time, the church put on concerts for the youth.  Needless to say,
he has not been active for a very long time. His wife just passed away
a few years ago, and he is very upset with everything in life right
now. We shared with him some of the Plan of Salvation, but he didn't
know that he could see his wife again. We are going back to see him
this week, and hopefully we are going to get some where with him.

Okay, onto conference! Holla! Holla! Holla!
I loved Conference! I loved every single one of the talks. I
absolutely loved President Nelson's talk! I am so grateful that my
Heavenly Father knows me.

Anyway, I don't have a lot of time!
