July 4, 2017 LET FREEDOM RING πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡ΈπŸ’™πŸŽ‡πŸŽ†

Well, happy Independence Day to all my fellow American Friends.
Have fun watching fireworks, eating hot dogs, watching The Sandlot and
singing the National Anthem. I'll be home for the next one, so see ya
then. ;)
Lemme tell you, Canadians tell us that we are too patriotic however I
do not think there is such a thing as too patriotic, I love America.

Canada Day was great, spent a whole lotta time out in the community.
Serving & talking to people all day long, except when everything got
rained out except the powwow however, we didn't go to the powwow
because we didn't know what kind of crowd it would be. Turns out we
totally should have gone because everyone was talking about it.

We seriously have been teaching all day everyday. Even when we are
just playing to go evaluate and update, someone from across the street
is like, "Hey, do you guys want to come and talk to me right now?" So,
we do.

Thursday was crazy!! We were on the reserve for probably 4 hours just
teaching people. We had just gotten out of a lesson when a former
investigator from across the street literally yells, "Sisters! Come &
talk to me before I do something crazy." So, we did.
She had just come home from a funeral of three people and said, "I am
done with this."
Just then, we hear her cat screaming so loud and we were like, "what the heck?"
About 15 minutes later, her son comes breaking through the door, "Mom!
Mom! Mom! Where does that cat expert live?! Where does she live?"
Verda said, "Why what's wrong with Baby?" (That's the cats name)
Liam says, "MOM, BABY IS HAVING KITTENS."
Verda screams, "WHAT WHERE?!"
Lol, this is literally in the middle of the lesson when all this
happened. So Verda went and told the whole townsite that she is a
grandma!
We were like, "I mean I guess so."

HAHAHA, we literally witnessed two kittens being birthed. Weirdest
experience on my mission thus far.

ANOTHER MIRACLE HAPPENED:
Sunday we didn't have a supper appointment and it was fast Sunday. And
all we had was chicken, and we've been eating chicken all we long. I
mean, goodness gracious I love chicken, but it gets boring after a
little while.
So we had to call a member back & before we called her back I was
like, "I am praying that she says, 'Blah blah blah, anyway do you guys
have a supper appointment? Oh no! Well, we are having hamburger
lettuce wrapped tonight if you want to come over at 5:30?"
Low and behold, miracles do happen. She said almost those exact words,
and we ate hamburgers. I had my nice gluten free hamburger that was
lettuce wrapped, might I just add that they were G O A L S. seriously
cutest couple in the ward. I love them, they are my friends now. :)
also, yesterday she stopped by our home & gave me gluten free banana
chocolate chip muffins, o my goodness.
I was in Heaven. Since being diagnosed with Celiac Disease, I have not
tasted of the deliciousness of baked goods.  It tasted JUST LIKE a
regular muffin. #blessingsOnBlessingsOnBlessings

I love the Saviour & I love you all!

Also, the Atonement of Jesus Christ is so real. I have seen it in my
life and in the life of our investigators. I am so grateful for Christ
and that he was willing to suffer all manner of afflictions so that we
may trust him in all of our pains. He's real. He heals. He helps.
