First off, I hope that you are all warm. Because I am.
Canada got a warm spell this week, its only -7°
I didn't even wear a coat today. It was so warm.
(Literally, you know you're in Canada when you say -7 is warm)
But other than the last 2 days, it's been freezing. As my recent
covert Holly said, "It's booger freezin' cold." I love that girl so
much.
It's been about -20's last week. So much fun.
Haha, also funny story. For those of you who don't know, Holly went
down to Utah & had dinner with my family in October. Now, she is
really good friends with them. So cute. Haha, anyway.
Holly came to a lesson with us, and she told the investigator how good
of friends we were, and then she said,
"Yes, Lexie, is one of my best friends."
SHE LITERALLY CALLED ME BY MY FIRST NAME. HahAha, I could not get
control of myself because the entire time we taught her as an
investigator, she didn't know my name.
Haha, she said "I talk to your parents all the time on Facebook & they
don't refer to you as Sister Fisher."
It was hilarious.
AHHH. GOOD NEWS.
My investigator, Brant, that we passed over to the Mandarin Elders got
baptized on Saturday!
I wasn't able to go since I have already had a few baptisms, but I did
get to see him at the Chinese Christmas party later that night!
He thanked me for being a great teacher (I was shocked, lol) and said
he really appreciated my testimony.
ANOTHER COOL STORY.
So out little singing group got named, "Missionatonix" by President &
Sister Pattison.
Sister Pattison was so blown away by our performance at our Christmas
Conference that she asked us to come sing at the other Christmas
Conference.
Now, on Friday we get to go sing "Mary Did You Know?" At a live
nativity in Spruce Grove.
Holla. At. Cha. Gurl.
We are basically going on tour. At least that's how I feel.
Sister Waite is absolutely amazing. I love her so much.
Right now we are getting a kick out of listening to David Archuleta
Christmas. Everytime he comes on, Sister Waite yells, "DAVID" in the
Teacher from Jimmy Nuetron's voice.
Well, I love you all. I can't wait to talk to some of you next week. ❤️❤️❤️
